round and round

Hey, I'm home early! That's something really rare, I guess.

Well, I'm planning to be a total goody-two-shoes and finish up all the outstanding homework I have(which really, isn't very much but I'm just too lazy to complete it). I MUST get myself into mugging mode right now.

We had a short 15min timed practice on SBQ reliability and I couldn't even finish cross referencing. That seriously sucks, and is like a slap on my face to wake me up from lalaland and remind me that exams are just a week away.

EOY is scary. It's coming. I sense my impending doom.

Anyway, I had my first duet practice with Qianni after school today. It's rather alright for a first time, I'd say; a little hiccups here and there(okay, more like a alot), but I think after a few practices it'll be fine. And it doesn't help when there's people watching; I get very pressured and will screw up most of the time, which makes me worried about the actual assessment. I confess that I'm still super unsure about the primo part = practice, practice and practice.

My DS just hanged on me two times in a row.

I wonder if that's an omen.

On second thought, maybe it's just asking me to go back and study right now.

HSK was like the easiest chinese paper in the history of chinese papers I've ever taken.

170 questions, 2 and a half hours(HSK) < 40 questions, 1 hour 45mins.(BP paper)

Seriously, other than the listening component which made use of the whole duration, the rest are like, do finish then sleep for half an hour.

Oh oh and our invigilator was super cute. He's invigilating for a chinese paper and he doesn't seem to know how the exam goes, and was having a hard time trying to read off the instruction manual. XD Super gong.

After that we stupidly took bus 61 ALL the way back to Bukit Batok, it freaking took us one hour. Imagine if we had to stand.

You can proceed to Jo's blog to view our ultimate masterpiece. It seriously looks like some small and exquisite dish which probably costs more than your house.

And yay, its going to be mooncake day! (Don't correct me, I know its mid-autumn festival/lantern festival/mooncake festival whatnot. =__=)

PROGRESS REPORTTTTTTTTT.

I'm okay with my results, but not satisfied with it.

I need to do even better for EOY.

Tuesday, September 09, 2008

Oh my gosh I failed an operation. D:

Dr. Stiles! I've let you down. T___T

Gah, Miss Lim wasn't here today so we didn't get our progress report.

I WANT TO SEE. x____x

Mdm Ng wasn't here today as well for o music(hallelujah!) but then some totally bimbotic teacher came in and told us to compose a stupid song in like 2 hours with 10+ people vying for the 2 pianos in the music room. I totally didn't finish my accompaniment and haha, confirm fail.

Omg prz. As if composing was that easy. Ms. Bimbo chased us out of the room and demanded our papers by 5.55pm and I think this was the shortest time we had ever taken to keep the tables and chairs. D:

*inserts curses*

There's this HSK briefing tomorrow which will last for like 3 hours. Hallelujah.

*inserts more curses*

I haven't done my 2 zuowens.

*throws in all curses*

This is just stupid.

I was planning to finish my homework yesterday night, but I didn't. So, I told myself that, since I'm not going to have any piano lessons today I might as well take the whole day to clear the homework.

Guess what?

I haven't touched them.

Hah.

Digressing, CAMP ROCK is premiering tomorrow night!

OMG MUST WATCH, for Demi and Joe Jonas. *___*

btw; Play My Music is from Camp Rock. ;D

PLAY MY MUSIC

-
Jonas Brothers

Music
Turn on that radio
As loud as it can go
Wanna dance until my feet can't feel the ground (feel the ground)
Say goodbye to all my fears
One good song may disappear
And nothing in the world can bring me down (bring me down)

Hand clapping
Hip shaking
Heartbreaking
There's no faking
What you feel when your riding home
Yeah, yeah

Music's in my soul
I can hear it everyday, everynight
It's the one thing on my mind
Music's got control
And I'm never letting go, no no
I just want to play my music
Whoa (music)

Got my six string on my back
Don't need anything but that
Everything I want is here with me (here with me)
So forget that fancy car
I don't need to go that far
What's driving me is following my dreams, yeah

Hand clapping
Earth shaking
Heartbreaking
There's no faking
What you feel when your on a roll
Yeah, yeah

Music's in my soul
I can hear it everyday, everynight
It's the one thing on my mind
Music's got control
And I'm never letting go, no no
I just wanna play my music
I just wanna play my music

Can't imagine what it'd be like
Without the sound of all my hero's singing all my favorite songs
So I can sing along

Music's in my soul
I can hear it everyday, everynight
It's the one thing on my mind
Music's got control
And I'm never letting go, no no
I just wanna play my music

Music's in my soul
I can hear it everyday, everynight
It's the one thing on my mind
Music's got control
And I'm never letting go, no no
I just wanna play my music
All night long

Yeah

I'm crazy. I've just spent more than 2 hours staring at crobidoll's new release pictures.

The more I look at him, the more I like him. Seriously, where can you find such a perfect face?

For those who uh, are afraid of dolls, skip this post? XD

But how can you find Yeon-ho scary! His face is like, omg so shuai. And his profile view is even cuter. He's definitely a must get after Schulze. With him I can get Archernar as well! *___* Seems so perfect. SAVE SAVE SAVE.

Okay I'll make it really small then. T__T

It doesn't do him justice can. Click on the picture(s) to enlarge it and see for yourself.

Yeon-ho, you just wait.

So Samuel and Pamela came over this morning to practice their duet, and I think they made me totally hooked onto Marche Militaire after 2 hours of playing. It's so fun to play and listen to.

I hope you get addicted too. XD

-performed by Shi Shucheng(some famous pianist) and his daughters.

This is for eight hands, but it sounds roughly the same. And its played a little too fast than what's its supposed to be, but its still nice!

Cindy came and the two left at about 12.30pm. Haha.

I'm finally getting the hang of Raindrop prelude.

Hallelujah! In just 3 days! It's a miracle!

So much better than the nocturne which I looked at for 3 weeks and haven't even started with both hands. I think I should be able to play raindrop prelude decently for the concert now; and the duet's coming along fine too.

Had 3 hours of tuition and then ate at jessica's place. XD

Chiong homework ah!

Okay, so, let me start with something totally irrelevant.

Happy Teacher's Day!

To anyone who's reading this anyway. :D

I think today is the unluckiest day of my life. Went all the way to Lavender to make that pink card, got a queue number, and happily waited for my turn.

And so it did, rather quickly, and mum and I were like "wow, that's fast.". UNFORTUNATELY, that person said that my passport picture can't be used because my fringe was covering my eyes. And so I was required to take a new one.

Which I did and queued up with the billions of people at the photo booth thingy. The wait was alright, and when I thought I could just get things done asap, that booth operator told me that she couldn't print it properly because the "printer was dirty". And so she took out her manual and squinted at it, racking her brains to try to get it work. But it still refused to cough out any paper. And I stood there waiting. And I waited, and waited, and waited.

So my mum came by and asked, "Is there any problem?"
Booth lady, "No no, there's no problem, the printer's just dirty and I'm cleaning it."
*sits there, staring at the computer screen like an idiot*

Wow, like which aspect of sitting down and staring at the screen call cleaning? I mean, even if it's automated cleaning, at least stand up and check the freaking printer to see if its done. So obviously she doesn't know how to operate the damn thing.

And mum said, "Why don't you get the other operator to help?"
Booth lady, "No no, it's just cleaning- wait, why is the printer blinking? Ey(the other operator)! Come over for a while, the printer like spoil leh."
Talk about not needing help. =____= So, the other lady came over, checked the printer and said, "Ey why you go off the printer?"

SO THAT'S WHY THE FREAKING PHOTO COULDN'T GET OUT. How smart, lady.

That was at about, 11.30am. We were there at 10.

We were allowed to register without a queue number because the lady said so, and then when she was registering my data, the stupid system hanged. Like what the hell, seriously.

So yeah, went to have lunch to kill time before going back at 12.30pm. And guess what? I lost the freaking passport photo so I have to go and retake again. Sucks.

And the whole thing was finally done with at about 3+pm. I never want to be there again, I tell you.

Anyway, on a happier note(or not), I got a new haircut yesterday(so that it has a week to grow out).

And it's like short. Really short. Kinda makes me look like those table tennis players. 8D But the good thing is, it's stylable! Which means my wax and hairspray are in use again.

I kinda like it. :D

Jess got a straight cut. YOU CAN'T LAUGH AT ME FOR HAVING STRAIGHT HAIR NOW. :DDD

There's tonnes of homework for the holiday, but I have alot of time so that's okay. I think I'm going to finish up my chinese/bio today. Then chiong SS for tmr. Then maths the following.

:D
